Biography
Dr Pratishtha Chatterjee is a Royce Simmons Foundation Mid-Career Research Fellow at the Centre of Research Excellence in Enhanced Dementia Diagnosis at The Florey. She is also an Honorary Senior Research Fellow at Macquarie University and Monash University.
Pratishtha’s research encompasses the investigation of diagnostic, prognostic and longitudinal monitoring biomarkers for Alzheimer’s disease and other dementia. Through her research, she aims to improve patient management strategies in clinical practice, as well as improve design of clinical trials facilitating the development of disease modifying therapies.
Dr Chatterjee’s work has attracted significant print and television media attention. She regularly peer reviews work in her field of expertise for high-impact journals including Brain and Alzheimer’s & Dementia. She has also accepted invitations to present her research at several national and international conferences/webinars including those from the Australian Dementia Forum and Alzheimer’s Association, United States.
