The diagnosis and treatment of dementia is rapidly changing, and The Florey’s brain research has been at the forefront of these developments.

In this public lecture ‘Diagnosis and treatment in a new era for dementia’, Professor Scott Ayton, Dr Rebecca Nisbet and Associate Professor Nawaf Yassi discussed the present and future hope of treatments for Alzheimer’s disease.

The Florey’s mission is to make dementia preventable and treatable. Future research in dementia at The Florey will build upon our strong track record to identify new drug targets, improve patient diagnosis, trial new treatments and advance care.
