Carolina is the supervisor of the Microscopy Facility at the Florey Institute of Neuroscience and Mental Health, where Carolina trains researchers on the use of confocal and bright field microscopes with a focus on neuroscience imaging.
Carolina completed her PhD in 2008 through the Mental Health Research Institute of Victoria and Department of Pharmacology, Monash University. Following her PhD Carolina undertook two post-docs where she focused on cardiovascular disease and mental health at the Department of Pharmacology, Melbourne University and Department of Nursing Australian Catholic University.
During her training Carolina has gained substantial experience with behavioural experiments, immunohistochemistry and imaging. Carolina assists researchers and students with imaging and analysis.
