Excellence in doctoral neuroscience research recognised by prestigious award

The 2020 Mendelsohn Student Award has been awarded to three doctoral students by the co-Directors of the Melbourne Neuroscience PhD Program.

Established in honour of eminent neuroscientist and previous Director of The Florey, Professor Frederick Mendelsohn AO FAA, the Mendelsohn student award honours research excellence in neuroscience.

“It has been inspiring to see the level of outstanding neuroscience research the 2020 Mendelsohn student awardees have during the course of their graduate research,” said Professor Trevor Kilpatrick, co-Director of the Melbourne Neuroscience PhD Program MNPP and Clinical Director of The Florey.

“This next-generation of neuroscientists are bright and eager to solve the greatest challenges of brain research. I wish them the very best and look forward to following their research careers.”
