Our research areas

Our expertise and world-class facilities mean that advances in knowledge can be accelerated into impact — from finding treatments to changing clinical practice.

Our mission is to ensure our discoveries have a tangible impact on society and help to improve people’s lives.

In 2025, we had 42 teams working across our five Research Priority Areas: Dementia, Epilepsy and Neurodevelopment, Mental Health, Neurodegeneration and Immunology, and Stroke and Critical Care.

Financial snapshot

In 2025, we achieved an operating surplus despite intense competition for funding and rising operational costs. This was made possible by the dedication of our people, generosity of our supporters, and careful stewardship from our Executive team and Board.
