Measures to support digital accessibility
The Florey website has been developed to ensure information about the Institute is available to as broad an audience as possible.
We work towards achieving compliance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 AA standards by:
- using designs and templates that have been developed with web best practice and the end user in mind
- developing content and multimedia to be useable by everyone through writing in plain language, including alternative text for images and creating captions for videos.
- conducting accessibility and usability reviews
- regularly monitoring accessibility, readability and the overall user experience.
Note that some older content or features may not be fully accessible. We are working to ensure compliance with the relevant WCAG criteria.
