Dr Sydney Juan

Biography
Dr Juan obtained her PhD in Neuroscience from The University of Melbourne in 2022, after which she joined the Neurotherapeutics Group as a Postdoctoral Researcher.
Her research focuses on studying the contribution of environmental toxins (such as microplastics and phthalates) in the development of Parkinson’s disease. Sydney uses mouse models of Parkinson’s disease to study these questions.
