Biography

Munenori joined the Florey’s Systems Neuroscience Theme in 2024 for a 2-year term as a clinician research fellow where his project focuses on renal replacement therapy in sepsis.

Munenori is an assistant professor dual-trained intensive care physician and anaesthetist at the Department of Anesthesiology, Kansai Medical University Hospital in Japan. There he is responsible for educating medical students and fellows as chief of education, and in charge of anaesthesia in the operating room, managing 2500 patients per year in the intensive care unit.

He has received grants from the Japanese Society for the Promotion of Science and has 15+ publications in highly ranked clinical journals.
