Transformational giving

Philanthropic support enables The Florey to continue our world-leading brain research, and is a meaningful way for you to contribute to a brighter future for those living with the 20+ brain and mental health conditions we study.

As a significant financial contribution, a major gift can be transformational. These gifts are usually made in partnership with the Institute and can help our researchers to accelerate pioneering research.

Major gifts are incredibly valuable in assisting early-career researchers progress their work as the future leaders of medical research. Major gifts can also help initiate further funding or investment from government and commercial partners.

A major gift of $10,000 or above can be given in several ways depending on how you want to make the most impact, including through:

• private ancillary funds
• a personal gift
• a corporate donation
• a trust or foundation.

Funds may be gifted to a specific research area or left for The Florey to decide where your gift will have the most impact.

In special circumstances, in consultation with the Director of The Florey, it is sometimes possible to name a fund.
