Biography
Professor Catriona McLean is Director and diagnostic neuropathologist of the Victorian Brain Bank, housed at The Florey Institute of Neuroscience and Mental Health, and is also Head of Anatomical Pathology at Alfred Health.
Professor McLean has over 25 years experience in brain banking and is honorary neuropathologist at Royal Children’s Hospital and Monash Medical Centre, Director of the Victorian Neuromuscular Service (also servicing Tasmania) and pathologist for the State Melanoma Service, the Australian National CJD Registry (also servicing New Zealand) and Australian Phenomics Network.
She has been the Director of the Australian Brain Bank Network (ABBN) from 2003 to 2014.
