The Florey is pausing our work experience program in 2026 and at this stage will not be advertising for work experience placements.
About work experience at The Florey
The Florey Work Experience Program (WEP) gives high school students the opportunity to gain insights into The Florey’ s research activities and the field of neuroscience.
The immersive program allows students to explore our work while gaining practical experience in Florey laboratories.
The program is open to high school students who are 15+ years of age at the time of their placement.
In 2025, we will welcome 16 high school students to our work experience program, with students attending one of the below weeks:
- 7–11 June 2025 (8 places)
- 22–26 September 2025 (8 places).
